# MicroQuant evaluation terms

Version 2026-09-03. These are the current terms under which MicroQuant grants
technical evaluation access. They are issued by MicroQuant AI, sole
proprietorship of Daniel Sanchez Suarez, which owns the software described here
in whole.

These terms are not a production licence, an order form, a warranty, a support
commitment, or a statement of commercial availability. A production grant
requires a separately executed written agreement.

Changed in this version: the contact address. Earlier versions gave
`https://microquant.ai/`, which is not a registered domain and reaches nothing.
The address is `https://muquant.dev/` and has always been the site you are
reading. Nothing else in these terms changed.

## What evaluation access permits

Evaluation access permits technical evaluation of the source, development
packages, generated artifacts, documentation, and tests in a non-production
environment, by the individual or organisation to whom access was granted.

It does not permit production use, customer-facing deployment, redistribution,
sublicensing, publication of the software or its source, removal or alteration
of proprietary notices, or any representation that an engineering target is
commercially supported.

Evaluation access may be withdrawn at any time. Nothing in it transfers
ownership, and no right arises by implication, estoppel, or course of dealing.

## What is claimed, and what is not

The software and any output it generates are provided for evaluation as-is,
without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty
of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To
the fullest extent permitted by law, MicroQuant is not liable for any indirect,
incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary loss, or for any loss of
profit, revenue, data, or use, arising out of evaluation.

Integer quantization changes model behaviour. An evaluator is responsible for
testing their own model, firmware, target, security boundary, safety
requirements, and regulatory obligations before relying on any result.

MicroQuant makes no safety, certification, performance, accuracy, memory,
target-support, or fitness claim beyond the machine-readable support contract
and the accepted evidence associated with the exact evaluated bytes. Every
published measurement names the tier of evidence behind it. A latency figure is
published only from a physical measurement on the exact declared board,
firmware, model, clock, and campaign; anything else is labelled as the host,
compiled, or emulated evidence that it is.

## Benchmark results

Published comparisons name the runtime, the model bytes, the corpus, the board,
and the campaign that produced them, and they are reproducible from the
repository against the same inputs. They describe those exact configurations and
are not a claim about any other model, corpus, board, or workload, and not a
certification by any standards body or benchmark consortium.

## Your data

Evaluation does not authorise uploading private models or data to any public
service, and no MicroQuant web service accepts them. The enquiry form should
contain only information you are authorised to share. Model transfer, retention,
deletion, and confidential work require a separately agreed handling
arrangement.

## Governing terms

The repository licence file governs use of the software itself. Where an
executed agreement exists between MicroQuant and an evaluator, that agreement
governs and prevails over these terms.

No governing law or venue is named here. Where an executed agreement exists it
supplies both; where none does, the applicable law is whatever the parties'
circumstances make applicable, and nothing in these terms waives a mandatory
protection available to an evaluator under the law of their own country.
