# MicroQuant privacy notice

Version 2026-09-03. This is the current notice, not a draft.

Changed in this version: the site is named by its actual address,
`muquant.dev`. Earlier versions named `microquant.ai`, which is not a registered
domain, and that matters here because it is the address you would use to ask for
your data to be deleted. Nothing about what is collected, why, or for how long
changed.

## Who is responsible

MicroQuant AI, sole proprietorship of Daniel Sanchez Suarez, is the controller
for everything described here. There is no other operator, no marketing agency,
no analytics vendor, and no data broker involved in this site.

## What this site collects on its own

Nothing.

Opening, reading, or navigating muquant.dev sets no cookie, stores nothing in
your browser, runs no analytics, and makes no request to any third-party
origin. The pages, the stylesheets, the scripts, the benchmark data, and the two
typefaces are all served from this one origin, so simply reading the site does
not reveal your address to anyone but the host that serves it.

The host, Cloudflare, keeps its own short-lived operational logs of requests
made to any site it serves, as every web host does. MicroQuant does not read,
export, analyse, or retain those logs, and no MicroQuant record is derived from
them.

## The one place data is collected

The evaluation enquiry form, and only when you fill it in and tick the consent
box. Your consent is the lawful basis for holding it. The server refuses a
submission that does not carry that consent, and nothing is written when it
does.

**What is stored:** the fields you typed — your name, your email address, and
whichever of the optional technical fields you chose to complete (company,
framework, model type, calibration data, MCU family and board, ISA features,
environment, toolchain, current tool, flash, SRAM and power budgets, primary
blocker, timeline, and free-text notes) — together with the record that you
consented, which version of these terms you consented to, and when.

**What is not stored:** your IP address, your user agent, any device or browser
fingerprint, any referrer, and any identifier we could have derived from the
request rather than from what you typed. The endpoint never reads them.

**Where it is stored:** a Cloudflare D1 database in Cloudflare's network.
Cloudflare acts as processor for the hosting and the database; no other
processor is involved.

**What it is used for:** replying to you, qualifying whether your model and
target fit the supported envelope, and the correspondence that follows from
that. It is never sold, rented, shared with a third party, or used to build a
profile, and it never enters an advertising or automated decision system.

## Models and datasets are never uploaded

The form is for a description of your problem, not for your model. No MicroQuant
web service accepts a model file, a calibration set, or evaluation data, and the
compiler itself has no network capability at all — it cannot upload anything,
by construction. Transferring confidential model bytes requires a separately
agreed handling arrangement and happens outside this website.

Please send only information you are authorised to share.

## How long it is kept

- An enquiry that does not lead to an engagement is deleted within six months.
- A qualified enquiry that goes dormant is deleted within twenty-four months.
- An enquiry that becomes an engagement is kept for the life of that engagement
and the record-keeping period that follows it.

Deletion is performed against the database directly; there is no archive, no
backup export, and no secondary copy held elsewhere by MicroQuant.

## Your rights

You may ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected,
ask for it to be deleted, ask for it to be exported, object to its use, or
withdraw your consent. Withdrawing consent removes the basis for holding the
enquiry, so it is deleted.

Exercising any of these costs you nothing and needs no justification. Send the
request through the enquiry form on the site, or simply reply to any message you
have received from MicroQuant; both reach the controller directly. Requests are
answered within thirty days.

If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you may also complain to
your national data protection authority.

## Children

The site is addressed to engineering and procurement professionals. It is not
directed at children and no part of it is designed to collect their data.

## Changes

The version at the top of this notice is the one in force. The consent recorded
with an enquiry names the version that was in force when it was given, so a
later change to this notice never applies retroactively to a consent already
taken.
